5. What RhythmBee units would I use to work on dotted eight-sixteenth rhythms? The dotted eighth-sixteenth rhythm is the most often misplayed of all. To teach that rhythm successfully, ensure that the students feel the two part foot tap (finger tap) as they learn and work on this rhythm. A strong upbeat makes it almost impossible for them to misplace the sixteenth note, which is the most common error.
Unit 51 introduces Rule 4, which deals with counting 16th notes.
Unit 52 offers a great deal of practice with 16ths.
Unit 53 introduces and stresses dotted eighth-sixteenths.
