"Every student gets it!"

The Elementary Plan (Grade 5 or 6)

Why?

RhythmBee is the leader in Automated Rhythm Instruction.  Our program does the teaching and allows you, the teacher, to watch and hear every student perform.  That process allows every child to become musically literate and prepare to be an enthusiastic and competent participant in middle school music ensembles.

How does this work?

In only the 5th grade*, the elementary music teacher replaces the normal rhythm study with the sequential instruction of the RhythmBee Program One five to ten minute instructional unit per class period will allow time for other studies. The review and reinforcement that is part of every unit provides students with unlimited opportunities to learn each skill.

With weekly class meetings, each class will complete 36 units in the span of a school year.  The skills that the students learn will enable a middle school teacher of an ensemble program to take the students to ever-higher levels of rhythm instruction.

A RhythmBee Festival is a wonderful motivating tool and a suitable culminating activity.  The  purchase of the Elementary Edition entitles the school to free consultation and advise concerning the use of the program and the management and execution of a RhythmBee Festival.

* This suggestion assumes that the 5th grade is the last grade in elementary school.  If this is not the case, then this plan should be implemented only for that grade that is the highest grade in elementary school.
